Worship at First Avenue Presbyterian

Our worship services are traditional, heartfelt, and open to everyone who would hear the good news of the Lord.
Rev. Harlan VanOort, who also serves with City Church Denver, leads us in sharing God’s Word and deepening our spiritual lives. Each service includes music from our choir and musicians, prayers of joy and concern, and opportunities for all to participate.
Lay members play an active role as readers, prayer leaders, and storytellers — reflecting our belief that everyone has a place in God’s work.
